GETTING TO KNOW THE RENNER GROUP

It’s that time of year…parents dropping their kids at college, your young adult landing their first job and moving out of the house, or perhaps one of your “babies” is getting married. Through all of these life-changing events, parents find themselves in the new adventure known as the “empty nest”.

For Ken and I (and many of you), it’s bittersweet and exciting at the same time. We just dropped off our son, Sam, at Washington State University a couple weeks ago. Sam plans to major in Business Entrepreneurship and will play golf for WSU. Go Cougs!

And so we begin our empty nester journey. While we’ll miss seeing our kid daily, we are looking forward to new travel adventures, enjoying our wonderful Bend community, spending more time with our “empty-nester” friends – paddle boarding, golfing, hiking, etc…. ☀️
